This is a starter document written with GDPR-style principles in mind. It is not a full legal compliance document.
1. Who we are
“Learn and Explore it” is operated from South Africa. Questions or data requests: Mphon4653@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
- Account info: your name and email (to create and secure your account).
- Your content: the questions you ask the tutor and your saved conversations (so your history syncs across devices).
- Subscription info: whether you have Premium. Card details are handled by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical data: standard app/usage information to keep the service working.
3. How we use it
- To provide the tutor, travel features, and your synced history.
- To manage your subscription and access.
- To keep the App secure and improve it.
4. Who we share it with (service providers)
We use trusted providers to run the App:
- Google Firebase — accounts, database, hosting.
- OpenAI — generates AI answers from the text you send (please do not share sensitive personal data in your questions).
- Cloudflare — securely routes tutor requests.
- Lemon Squeezy — processes payments.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Security
Your data is protected so that only you can read your own account data. We use industry-standard security, but no system is 100% guaranteed.
6. Your rights
You can request to access, correct, or delete your data by emailing Mphon4653@gmail.com. You can delete your account at any time.
7. Children
The App is intended for students. If you are under the age required in your country, please use it with a parent or guardian’s consent.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll post the new date at the top.
